MYSTICAL AROMATHERAPY:  The Divine Gift of Fragrance

This book explores the understanding of the Divine nature of the sense of smell as it relates to the human condition and according to Ancient Sages' writings and teachings based on Torah texts. Avraham Sand (CoHeN) blends his intimate knowledge of the sacred texts of Judaism with many years as a practitioner of the art of Aromatherapy to bring us this enlightening text.  Particularly, the text covers, in detail, the Shemen Tov (Anointing Oil) and the Ketoret (Incense) of the Mishkan/Tabernacle.

Also includes:

- Valuable tips on the most effective and enjoyable use of aromatic medicine.

- Detailed guidelines for using the sense of smell to choose the correct aromatherapy oils and formulations.

- Essential oil formulation secrets for massage, bath, inhalation and ancient perfumes.

Noah Webster's 1828 American English Dictionary defines "mystical" as:

MYS'TICAL
, a. [L.mysticus.] Obscure; hid; secret.

1. Sacredly obscure or secret; remote from human comprehension.

God hath revealed a way mystical and supernatural.

2. Involving some secret meaning; allegorical; emblematical; as mystic dance; mystic Babylon.

Avraham Sand is an American Israel Jewish Cohen who shares the mysteries from the Jewish Sages.  He has been working for over 40 years as an aromatherapist and has specialized in the anointing oil and ketoret incense from the temple days and working the The Temple Institute.
